Rt. Hon. Barr. Ernest Ibejiako serves as the Honourable Commissioner for Mines, Industry, and Solid Minerals in Imo State, Nigeria. Appointed by Governor Hope Uzodinma, he is dedicated to driving sustainable development across the state's industrial and solid mineral sectors.
With a focus on responsible mining, industrial expansion, and job creation, Hon. Ibejiako champions policies that harness Imo State’s solid mineral wealth for economic empowerment. His leadership aims to attract investments, modernize industries, and ensure environmental sustainability in resource management.
What we DoThe Ministry of Industry and Solid Minerals (MISM) is actively pursuing key projects to drive industrial development and sustainable mineral resource management across Imo State. Project updates, along with field photos of ministry personnel at work sites, will be published regularly to ensure transparency and community engagement. The Ministry has outlined ambitious yet attainable goals to transform Imo State’s industrial and mining landscape over the next five years.
